Are road and rail accidents so difficult to be prevented
that we have not been heeding to them for a long time. The answer is ‘no’. Mere suspension of the drivers or
the officials is only to wash of our hands from the actual problem. The problem
is a deep-rooted one.
It is to be observed that a sense of responsibility is the very branch of spiritual discipline, and it finds its echo in the soils of India.

It is ridiculous that many of us do not abide by it. Instead, the westerners do give significance to it. However, they too, are no exception to it, when it comes to the accidents that occur as a result of the lack of their carelessness, may it be a plane crash or rail and road-accidents. The point is that these accidents are reminders to us that there is no permanent or readymade solutions to these problems. Merely, blaming will not do. A sense of shared responsibility has to go hand in hand, while the services are rendered.
